KLAVI / PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

Your music is personal. Here’s how Klavi handles your information.

Last updated October 14, 2026 · AppBaron

THE SHORT VERSION

No account. No ads. Your practice progress stays on your device, and microphone audio is analysed locally without being recorded or uploaded.

01

Who we are

Klavi is published by AppBaron. The contact responsible for this policy is Maria Luisa Baron, reachable at baronmarialuisa93@gmail.com. This policy covers the Klavi iOS app and its AppBaron website.

02

Your practice stays on your device

Klavi does not require an account. Lesson progress, practice results, streaks, and preferences are stored locally in the app’s storage on your device. Klavi does not send this information to an AppBaron server or provide its own cloud sync.

Your device’s operating system may include app data in backups according to your Apple settings. These backups are handled by Apple, not by AppBaron.

03

Microphone and MIDI input

If you choose microphone input, Klavi asks for microphone permission to detect the musical notes you play. Audio is processed in memory on your device for real-time feedback; Klavi does not save recordings or upload the microphone audio.

For a connected MIDI keyboard, note events are used on your device to run the practice session. You can use the on-screen keyboard without microphone access. You can change microphone permission in iOS Settings.

04

Purchases through Apple

Apple processes subscriptions and lifetime purchases. Klavi uses Apple’s StoreKit to check purchase entitlements and unlock Pro features. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple handles your account, payment information, and transaction records under its own privacy policy.

05

No advertising or tracking SDKs

Klavi contains no advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. We do not sell your personal information or use your practice activity to build an advertising profile.

06

When you contact support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, such as your message, app version, or screenshots. We use it to respond, investigate issues, and follow up on your request. Our email provider processes this correspondence to deliver and store it.

Only include information needed to explain the issue. Do not send passwords or full payment card details. We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable obligations; you can ask us to delete it.

07

When you visit this website

This website is hosted by Netlify. Delivering and protecting the site involves processing technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time. Netlify processes this information as the hosting provider; its privacy notice explains its practices.

We do not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or non-essential cookies to this website. Links to Apple or your email provider take you to services with their own privacy practices.

08

Your choices and requests

You can stop microphone access at any time and use another input method. Deleting Klavi from your device removes its local app storage; offloading the app may preserve that storage. Manage device backups separately in your Apple settings. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information, object to processing, or complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us for requests about support correspondence. We cannot retrieve practice data that remains only on your device.

09

Children and families

Klavi does not require children to create accounts or submit personal information. A parent or guardian should manage purchases and support correspondence for children. If a child has sent personal information to us by email, their parent or guardian can contact us to request deletion.

10

Changes and contact

We will update this page if Klavi’s data practices change, and show the revised date above. For privacy questions, contact Maria Luisa Baron at baronmarialuisa93@gmail.com.
